"I find a lot of inspiration from horror, and examining the genre led to my major body of work - but it’s an influence I don’t often bring up because it feels weird. These drawings feel very different from the paintings that I create in my main body of work. Drawings like this have become a creative outlet where I feel like I can experiment more strangely with subject matter that doesn’t tend to align with my paintings."
