Sarisa Kojima Into My Eye's Horizon

1 of 4

A word from the Curator.

Sarisa Kojima’s work keeps revealing itself beyond a first look. Born from a mix of Shoujo manga influences and techniques honed during her studies in Japanese woodblock printing (shifted to digital due to carpal tunnel), her pieces branch out and add to the Superflat art movement.

Layer in Kojima’s Japanese and Thai heritage, along with her trans experience, and you’ll notice themes and details that bring even more depth. I could go on, but I’ll leave the rest for you to explore.

Art is not a luxury: it’s a lifeline to our identity, a space to express our beliefs.

Art transforms sterile walls into conversations that matter. In a world drowning in instant gratification and mass production, be the one who stops following and asks, 'Where do I want to go?' Directly supporting artists means buying art - not only donating money at the end of the year. Your voice and identity are unique, and the art you bring into your home should reflect that. So break the tethers of norms and algorithms and discover yourself.
